Talk about Jesus naturally, without it being awkward.
You love Jesus. You’d love for your family, friends, neighbors, and coworkers to know him. And somehow, when the moment comes, it passes.
Maybe you’ve thought:
- I don’t know how to bring up Jesus without it getting weird.
- I don’t want to offend anyone or ruin the relationship.
- What if they ask something I can’t answer?
Jesus in Everyday Life is four one-hour workshops for small groups, ministry teams, and churches who want to talk about Jesus the way Jesus did: in ordinary conversations, with ordinary words. You’ll learn simple ways to move from small talk to Jesus and workshop your real everyday conversations. I’m Paul Sewell, and I come to your group and lead it, free.
What changes
By the end of the four workshops, you’ll:
- Move from small talk to a conversation about Jesus without forcing it
- Know what Jesus says about himself and say it in your own words
- Tell your own Jesus story in three minutes or less
- Help a friend discover Jesus for themselves by reading the Gospels together, without needing every answer
What we’ll cover
1. Casual to Meaningful to Jesus
From Forced to Flowing
- Learn the simple flow from everyday small talk to a conversation about Jesus
- Ask questions that go deeper: be interested, not interesting
- Know what to say and what to leave out when someone leans in
2. The “I Am” Statements of Jesus
From Christianity to Jesus
- Discover who Jesus is and what he offers straight from his own words
- Put the good news in one sentence of your own
- See how Jesus meets the longings people bring into everyday conversations
3. The Storytelling Workshop
From Testimony to Story
- Find the moments Jesus showed up in your life
- Write a three-minute story with Jesus as the hero
- Be ready with a story when the moment comes
4. Discovering Jesus
From Explaining to Inviting
- Learn a simple way to read a story about Jesus with a friend who doesn’t know him yet
- Lead a discussion where the text and the Spirit do the teaching, not you
- Know how to invite someone to read with you

Where these workshops came from
Most believers have never been equipped with the skills and tools to spread Jesus. Me included. I was an Executive Pastor at a large church, and I came to realize that I did not actually know how to share the gospel or make disciples. (Apparently they don’t teach that in seminary.) And if I did not know how as a pastor, what did that mean for all the people in the 2,000 seats in our worship center?
Compelled by Jesus, I stepped down from my role as Executive Pastor to go on a journey to learn how to talk about Jesus and make disciples. This journey led me all over the world and into community with some very fruitful followers of Jesus.
These four workshops are the best of the best of what I have learned and lived on this journey. Of course, I don’t have it all figured out. I still have a lot to learn. And that is exactly what apprentices of Jesus do. We learn. So lets keep learning together how to follow the master Jesus. Specifically how did He talk about Himself and make disciples in everyday life?

Join me in Jesus in Everyday Life
Hi, I’m Paul Sewell, the founder of Seven Wells and creator of Jesus in Everyday Life workshops. With over 20 years of experience, I’ve trained thousands of people through workshops, coaching, and teaching. My passion is helping everyday believers enjoy Jesus more and talk about Him naturally in everyday life.
Before starting Seven Wells in 2016, I served as an Executive Pastor and College Pastor, and went on to co-found Launch Global, a missions training organization that has sent 500+ global workers and helped plant nearly 1,900 churches worldwide.
Before those Kingdom roles, I was an industrial engineer designing and selling supply chain solutions with Manhattan Associates. My diverse background in engineering and theology allows me to offer unique insights into spreading Jesus in everyday life.
My wife Elisha and I live in Bentonville, Arkansas, in the ancient Ozark Mountains with our three kids who constantly remind us of the joy and zeal of life. When I’m not working or with family, you’ll find me ripping trails on my mountain bike or quietly sipping specialty coffee next to a pile of books.
